Your First Session: What to Expect
Please arrive a few minutes early. Your instructor will ask you a few questions to tailor your session.
For your own comfort, do not eat heavily 2 hours before your workout.
Wear leggings or shorts, an athletic top or T-shirt, and socks (no bare feet)
Do not wear jewelry, pants or shorts with zippers (zippers damage the equipment)
Free Parking is available in the garage located off of 102nd Ave NE by the Kiddie Academy entrance

All sessions use Gratz Pilates equipment to give you a full body workout for strength and flexibility. Equipment includes the Reformer, Wall Unit with High Mat, Ladder Barrel, Wunda Chair, Spine Corrector, Arm Chair, Pedi Pole, Foot Corrector, Toe Exerciser, and Magic Circle. We’ll teach you how to best use each piece for your specific body.

Joseph Pilates developed the exercises to be practiced in a specific order. In your sessions, you’ll learn this order and more importantly how to transition between each exercise. The flow you’ll experience will leave you feeling refreshed, energized, and balanced!

Every session we develop is intentional and purposeful. We show you how to connect the mind to every exercise you do to give you back control over how your body feels and looks.

No two bodies are the same, and in private instruction you’ll learn how to translate every exercise for your body type, including a system of proper modifications. We’ll scale things up when you’re ready and scale them down when necessary. This means you’ll be constantly challenging yourself while staying safe from injury.
